Watch television performance and live concert videos
At my gig at the Old Brewery in Cromarty, Scotland, on 9 February 2008, one audience member was kind enough to supply me with videos he'd made of the gig. Here I am singing the beautiful shape note/Sacred Harp hymn 'Wondrous Love', which I learned from the singing of Jean Ritchie. Note that, as is my usual habit when singing this particular song, I've moved away from the microphone to sing unamplified -- hence the odd angle at the start. I've also recorded 'Wondrous Love' for my new album I Won't Go Home Til Morning. It was the first track we recorded and I did it in one take. If the rest of the album had gone as quickly, we'd have had the whole thing finished by teatime!

Here's another video from that Old Brewery gig. In this one, you can see my new Andy Manson guitar in action on 'Sprig Of Thyme' -- which also happens to be the opening track of my debut CD, When Two Lovers Meet.

One last Old Brewery video before we move on. This one is of my very first song of the evening, hence a few microphone adjustments. It's 'The Wagoner's Lad', which I've also recorded for the new album.

On Tuesday, 3 April 2007, I made my TV debut, performing ‘When Two Lovers Meet’ on ‘The View’, the highly regarded arts show hosted by John Kelly on RTÉ 1, Ireland’s national television station.
