Sarah, an alternative venue that would get you some exposure in the area could be the Black Swamp Feastival in Bowling Green Ohio. It is very near the campus of the large Bowling Green State University and the festival features art as well as nationally known musical artists of many genres, just a thought. It is held around late August, Labor Day.

Hi Sarah. I attented your Great Bend show with my wife, and needless to say, we were both very impressed. You are a very talented lady and your concert was very enjoyable. We both thought that the way you had the audience participate on so many songs was a breath of fresh air compared to an average concert. We hope to attend a future concert and hopefully next time I will have the courage to join you in singing your Canon! Thanks for sharing your talent with us! Good luck to you in all your future endeavors.

I was checking your calendar and was disappointed that no dates for Florida for your 2010 tour of US. I am co-host/DJ-Programmer for (WMNF 88.5 Community Radio Tampa) Music Of The Isles (Celtic Show). I have your first CD and if you go to our website (www.wmng.org) you can check playlists to see that I enjoy playing your music. Again, it's very disappointing that you will not be in Florida as it would be wonderful for the Tampa audience if you could come down to the station. Perhaps some future tour this could happen.

Dear Sarah
I have been thinking about Saturday 16 May’s DADGAD workshop at the Hibernia Centre, Avonmouth and looking through your Irish DADGAD Guitar Book again. I thought I'd add some feedback in your Guest Book. I really enjoyed your workshop and I liked the way you made sure there was something for everyone. Each one of us had come along with widely different expectations and experience but you overcame this by adapting to the way the flow was going.
As someone who has dabbled in open tunings, including DADGAD, for 35 years without really knowing what I was doing I certainly got a lot out of the session, which was also my first “guitar lesson”!
For me it was useful to have read your Irish DADGAD Guitar Book beforehand but this was by no means a necessary requirement for a participant to benefit from the workshop. I liked too the impromptu illustrations using guitar parts taken from songs and instrumentals on your CDs. Your insight into chord structures and scales cast a new light on the reason why an open tuning like DADGAD works, in contrast to my previous hit-and-miss, limited attempts at picking out chords that sound nice.
I’m sure I speak for other participants when I give a big thank you for an excellent workshop, which I would recommend to any guitarist.
All the best, Adrian

Hi Sarah... I have only just discovered you and your music. Yes I'm a bit slow... and what a lot I have been missing! Expensive discovery though; I have ordered your DADGAD book and both CD albums. I know DADGAD well but I'm now converted to open C. My playing style is more than a bit like yours - I think. I do hope to come to your gig in Scorriton if I can escape from the Plymouth Jazz and Blues Festival that night. Keep up the good work!

Hello Sarah heard you on radio Ulster, it is great to hear a singer like yourself call for people to join her on stage,
as you are in N/Ireland you should visit Mountstwart in Newtownards, I work and live there and would be happy to show you around.
I work for the Lady Bury who's family home this is not the NT's,
have you ever played at a place could the burn in the south east of England, as a friend also could Sara her and her husbond both lost their jobs, to all this madness, she is a very good singer, she give up singing when she was told she could sing but was not prity enough to make it, has put a gruop togather could {Truly Acoustic} and is playing their at the end off the month doing an ABBA night...
if you ever need a backing in that part of England let me know and I will pass it on, Sara is building a website it is not yet working but will be soon

Hi Sarah, we thoroughly enjoyed your concert in the Unitarian Church tonight. I (Philippa) was reminded at times of the wonderful voice of Joan Armatrading but there's so much more to you than that! Great lyrics and you brought tears to our eyes with your 'Last Song'. Thank you so much.

Great gig last nite in Richhill. Leah was suppoting you. Your voice and guitar sound was amazing. The Last Song was my favourite as it related to me and Leah as my mother died weeks after Leah wsa born and never got to hold her so there was a few tears shed. Music is Leah's life and she has overcome a lot in her short life and it has been her saviour. I emailed Andy Manson someday I hope Leah will be able to purchase a guitar from him. I was glad she did her own stuff as she usually plays covers. Pity there weren't more people there to appreciate you maybe when you are next in the area Leah can support you and there will a much bigger audience. I was telling my fellow workers at St Patrick's Grammar Schol in Armagh all about you so hopefully they will buy your album I intend to get all three hadn't enough money with me last nite as Leah got the book which will be so useful to her. Thanks once again for the great nite

Hi Sarah,
I'm so excited to see that you will be coming to The Netherlands again! Something to look forward to, but crikey for us Dutch folks (not used to distances) it's a long drive. Still, we'll be there, in Sevenum, where-ever that is!
Also good to see that you've teamed up with another creative lady! Can't wait to hear the results.
Do you think there's any chance of you visiting us in Hellevoetsluis any time soon? They're still talking about your performace you know!
Do try! I'll lobby for you with De Twee Hondjes!
Kind regards,

Hi Sarah,
My parents saw you at a small gig in Ireland a couple of weeks or so ago. They bought me your album 'When two lovers meet' and it's brilliant. Congratulations! My dad bought you as cup of tea at the interval. When they got back I took them to see Show of Hands (who they loved too) and they were full of how much they'd enjoyed your gig. Having heard the album I can understand why. Look forward to attending a gig myself.

Thanks for sharing the performance clips: what a gorgeous guitar, no wonder you're delighted with it. But what prompted me to write was the singing, which has gone to a whole 'nother level. Seriously, you have now joined the very short list of people I would stand in the snow to hear singing the phone book (not that any of ye would be so daft as to do such a thing). Of course this presents you with a new "problem": if the songs sound so good unaccompanied, why play guitar at all? Well, I'll trust you to figure that one out.

Just to thank you for an excellent concert - the first of your Scottish Tour - in Strachur on Friday evening. The atmosphere was really great and you very quickly established a close rapport with the small but appreciative audience. The informal chat during the interval was great. The Manson sounded great too!

Sarah,
What happened in "De Fookhook" last Sunday was pure magic !!. We are running our folkclub for 16 years now but I never experienced such a thrilling interaction between artist and audience who rewarded you with three encores !!
You have the ability to create a intimate athmosphere with your stories, songs and guitar playing and make the audience part of the gig. Thank you so much for that....and we'll stay in touch!!

What a surprise to find freshness for my ears. I have listened to Pierre play first mandolin and then DADGAD since (Paris) 1972. I marvel at how smoothly you bar the fretted stretcher of strings. Now we say, a pretty girl proves herself upon the wood and wire. I will listen to you in Navan. Your voice brings no pain only sadness.

It was nice to read all about you in your bio. I was born in Trail BC Canada 1931 and then returned to Donegal with my parents in 1933. I came to Canada in 1953 by myself and have been here since. I have a Donegal accent but with the passage of time I have lost all my mother language. I am trying to get your DADGAD book with the CD but it seems very scarce on this side of the Atlantic. That is all for now.
I remain,
Yours truly,
Jim Bracegirdle.
